Membership is $20 per household per calendar year. You’ll also automatically be a member of the Tennessee Bluebird Society. If you enroll after September 1st, membership will include the following calendar year as well.

Our mission is to restore diminishing bluebird and other native cavity nesting bird populations in Hamilton and surrounding TN counties by providing nesting habitat, collecting data and educating the public. We hope that you will join us in this effort.

Waiver and Release of Liability

  1. I understand that if I choose to volunteer with the Chattanooga Bluebird Society, volunteering may include monitoring public nestbox trails, assisting in the assembling of nestbox systems, helping at meetings and/or other volunteer activities.
  2. To the best of my knowledge, I am in good health and sufficient physical condition to participate in one or more of these activities.
  3. All minors under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian while volunteering.
  4. I hereby release Chattanooga Bluebird Society and its officers, board members, committees, and related entities, from any and all liability related to or arising from my participation as a volunteer. This means that I waive the right to bring any claim or lawsuit in any court or administrative forum under any theory of law based on or arising from these activities. This release and waiver includes claims based on allegations of negligence by Chattanooga Bluebird Society, its officers, board members, committees and related entities.
  5. This release shall be interpreted under the laws of the State of Tennessee.
  6. I hereby grant permission for the Chattanooga Bluebird Society to take, edit, publish and distribute any and all pictures or videos taken of me by Chattanooga Bluebird Society to be used in promotional materials including but not limited to newsletters, flyers, posters and other print and social media posts without payment or any other consideration.
